The Balearic Flood Early-Warning System -INUNSAB encompasses more than 50 hydrometric stations mainly located in the headwaters of those
catchments under severe flood risk. All of them are equipped with a pressure probe linked to a datalogger measuring the water stage every 10 minutes, releasing this value on real-time by using LoraWAN and NBIoT
technologies. Beyond the Emergency requirements of knowledge transfer, the deployment of this hydrometric network represents a great opportunity to further assess the hydrological patterns of small
Mediterranean catchments; so data will be really useful to disentagle some of the scientific challenges in this highly human-impacted environments.
